Information for New Families

Welcome to Two Coyotes Wilderness School! Thank you for considering enrolling your child in our programs. Our school year and summer camp programs provide extraordinary experiences that you won’t find anywhere else. Your child will come home tired, dirty, smelling like campfire, and bursting with stories about their day – sometimes a song, too! Our programs help kids build confidence, self-expression, leadership skills, teamwork, and so much more. Our parents are an important part of the overall community as well, and we have many ways for you to get involved.

Before you enroll, we strongly encourage you to orient yourself and your family using the following materials as a guide to culture and expectations for participants:

  1. 1. Who We Are
  2. 2. What We Offer
  3. 3. Age Group & Developmental Milestones at Two Coyotes (for School Year Programs only)
  4. 4. Information on Working With Your Public School
  5. 5. Two Coyotes Program + Registration Policies

Here are some helpful questions to consider while you read these resources:

Has your child ever participated in drop-off programs before?

Our groups have a mix of ages and students may skew younger or older than your child. Do you anticipate any issues with this?

We are usually outside from 9am-3pm in most kinds of weather. Does your child have experience with being outside in the rain, snow, cold, or heat for long periods?

Why are you seeking out Two Coyotes? What are you most excited about?
