Since opening our doors in 2000, Two Coyotes Wilderness School has prioritized accessibility to our transformative nature-based experiences for all children, regardless of family income. Historically, we have done this by charging less than the actual cost of programs and absorbing the cost of scholarships when there was no dedicated funding available. For several years, COVID relief funding helped us to fill this gap while we grew our programs in response to an increased demand caused by the pandemic. As the world changes at a dramatic pace, we know this work is too critical to rely on federal and grant funding to cover our operating costs. We are looking to root the stability of our organization in relationship with those who understand our mission and impact best: our family community.
As we write the next 25 years of our story, we are committed to ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization and continuing to grow a vibrant, inclusive community where all families are welcome. In the spirit of reciprocity and community care, we introduced a tiered equitable pricing model starting in Summer 2026. Through this model, we are actively seeking partnership with families in our community by asking those who are able to commit to paying more, so that those who must pay less are still able to access the deep wisdom and teachings of the natural world.

– Supporter: Choose this tier if you are able to consistently meet your family’s basic needs and have some expendable income.
– Partner: Choose this tier if you have financial ease and abundance (e.g. investments, inherited wealth, access to family resources).
– Vision Keeper: Choose this tier if you have financial ease and abundance (e.g. investments, inherited wealth, access to family resources) and want to contribute toward Two Coyotes’ larger vision.
In addition, we will continue to engage in fundraising activities, seeking the support of individual donors and foundations to help guarantee that nature connection is a right, not a privilege, and remains accessible to all families. School Year 26/27 Financial Aid
Scholarship applications are part of the pre-registration process on CampBrain. Your application will ask you for the following information:
– Amount requested
– Household income
– Number of people in household
– An optional, personal statement explaining why this nature connection program is meaningful to you
– An optional, open-ended statement to explain any extenuating circumstances
If scholarship funds become available for your family, we will let you know the amount of funding we have available and for which sessions. If you accept the scholarship funds: we will register your child(ren), ask for a $25 deposit, and set up a payment plan for the remainder. Scholarships are subject to change if there are changes to your enrollment. They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and do not roll over.

Summer Financial Aid
Anyone who is applying for a scholarship this year will do so via our Summer Camp 2026 Scholarship Form.
For financial aid, there are two options:
- 1. You can complete the scholarship application only. This does not require the deposit of $150/camp week, BUT it means that you will not be securing a spot in camp. Rather, as scholarship money becomes available (depending on the number of people who choose the Partner or Vision Keeper tier), we will be in touch with families who have completed the scholarship form in the order that they completed it in and we will let you know how much funding is available and which camp weeks have spaces available. (You are able to indicate which camp weeks you’d most prefer on the scholarship form, so we will try to get you into those weeks, but there is no guarantee.)
- 2. You can register your children as usual through Campbrain and pay the $150 deposit for each camp week in order to secure spots, and THEN complete the scholarship form. This would guarantee your spot, but also allow you to receive financial aid IF it becomes available. Please remember that we cannot guarantee aid and, even if we are not able to offer financial aid to your family, deposits are non-refundable. (If you choose this option, you would choose the Friend tier during registration.)
